Besides the sound improvements in the Motif XS the sample loading times are considerably better than either the Motif ES which can hold 1 GB of RAM or the Motif Classic. I can load a 600 MB file into my XS6 in a little less than 4 minutes using a USB memory stick.You could eat dinner waiting for the Motif ES to load a similar sized file.
